I think the 12th has to do with trans-oceanic travel. It also has to do

with being exiled from your country of birth. But the 9th also has to do

with travel. Not sure what the diff is between 12th hs travel and 9th hs

travel. Therese?

Bettina,

As I understand it, the 12th is typically to far-away places, usually on

other continents. The 9th is simply long distance travel.

So Paulo, it's not really crazy at all.

The 12th implies remote exotic places or places of pilgramage, such as India

(for a westerner).

The 9th might be to Europe (for a North American).

Or it might be only travel within the states, South America or Canada (not

involving crossing an ocean.) Or maybe the 9th is mainly mental travel.

This is easy to test if we watch transits to planets in the 9th and 12th.

The 12th might also be foreign residence. One of my daughters lived for 20

years in India. She has lord of the 4th (Moon) in the 12th in Pisces. A son

travels extensively in his work. He has Mercury in 12th in Pisces, but the

travel doesn't involve foreign countries.

Dear Professor,

If transit Rahu is passing through the 4th house within 4 degrees of MEP and

aspects within 2-3 degrees both natal Moon and Rahu which are conjunct in the

8H, would it be considered as an extremely insecure time for travel of the

mother?

Sincerely,

Sonya

Thank you, Professor.

Since R/Ke stay within 5 degrees of the aflicted natal Ra and Moon for few

months - till May ( while the natal Ra is 23:08 and Mo in 23:59), would it be

enough to do the propitiating measures and have her travel during that time, or

should we wait till the affliction is over?

Best regards,

Sonya

Hello Sonya,

Yes, it can be done with care and propitiatory remedies when necessary.
