As there is very little I can offer to the forum in KP at this stage members may be interested in a posting I made to the Sidereal List on this subject recently. RonGaunt --\ ---- I have had a look at George Bush's and John Kerry's charts for the upcoming election using the 13th Oct 04 Solar Eclipse. John Kerry. Starting with Kerry's birth chart I note that he has a full moon axis conjunct his Asc/Desc axis which should give him a lot of exposure. He also has a very powerful configuration of Ma conj Ur Trine MC conj Neptune with Pluto conj Nodes at the midpoint. Ketu has a nice trine to Neptune and MC. These configurations will make him a maverick, and a revolutionary at heart, utopian, with hidden mystical inclinations and agenda. His Moon, Mars, Uranus grouping appears to be the reason for his success. In the S.E Pluto comes close conjunction natal Asc showing major changes. SE Neptune comes conjunction natal Ketu and opposition natal Pluto. This again shows major changes in career if using the equal house system but problems if using K.P. as the emphasis is on the 8th house. SE Jupiter comes close conjunction the important natal conjunction of MC and Neptune. At the time of the election Jupiter is still within close orb and has been joined by Venus who is exactly conjunct natal MC. These closely aspect his successful natal Mars Uranus conjunction and link to his natal Ketu. George Bush. Looking at Bush's chart there are very similar indications to Kerry's. The SE point closely conjunct his excellent Moon Jupiter conjunction (enterprises on a large scale) which closely trines natal Uranus Rahu ( political associations advocating reforms) conjunction. SE Pluto conjuncts natal Ketu and opposes SE Rahu and Uranus. SE Venus conjuncts natal Mars Lord of the 10th house. SE Neptune is still opposition natal Asc as it was on his election in 2000. CRITICAL ASPECTS. Kerry The SE point whilst positive and active in the S.E does nothing for Kerry's chart as it does not aspect any salient point of his chart. SE Jupiter which is so beautifully positioned on his critical MC and Neptune, is not active because it does not receive a bindu in own astakvarga. The only planet receiving a bindu is SE Venus which does not aspect any important part of his natal chart. Both Venus and Jupiter in transit on the day of the election closely conjoin his MC and Neptune and both are active by bindu. By traditional reading this would be extremely good for Kerry, BUT I believe that as SE Jupiter is not active and SE Venus does not aspect his natal chart the result will be otherwise. Bush The SE in Bush's chart illuminates his beautiful Moon Jupiter conjunction by very close conjunction. Both Sun and Moon are positive with Moon receiving 7 bindus. SE Venus is positive and conjuncts Mars Lord of the 10th house. Also Jupiter directed to the date of the election opposes Bush's MC; whilst Kerry's aspects natal Saturn in the 8th house (equal) or 7th (KP). In transit Bush's Jupiter is still active. DASAS I have been experimenting with KP and looked at the dasas to see how they compare. Kerry Kerry has Me/Me/ Sa for the SE. Mercury's sub is again Mercury so there is emphasis on the (KP) 10th and 8th houses as Lord and 2nd as occupant. So far so good. For the day of the election the dasas are Me/Ke/Ke. Buhkti Ketu's sub Lord is Jupiter which rules 2nd and 4th and is located in the 8th house. Not so good as there is no reference to the 10th house. It looks as though Kerry will spark up after the SE but will fade going into election day. Bush. On both the day of the SE and the election Bush is running Sa/Ju/Mo. Buhkti Jupiter's sub Lord is Rahu. Rahu is nicely located in natal 11th house in mutual aspect with natal Jupiter confirming the SE. Anthra Moon's sub Lord is Mars which is Lord of the 10th house and is situated in the 3rd house close conjunct powerful Jupiter. It looks as though Bush will get his message across, throughout the period SE to election day. The dasas appear to confirm the SE. INNAUGURATION DAY. Checking indications for inaugurations day I have set the time for 12pm 20th Jan 2005. Kerry, Transits for the 20th to Kerry's chart are Mars conjuncts natal Asc and Sun, but Mars is not active by astakavarga. Rahu trines Jupiter, and Jupiter (which is active) closely aspects Kerry's important Moon. This latter aspect would suggest high profile; but as he is still operating under the 0ct 04 SE where Jupiter was not activated, I suspect that this will be a dead note. Also looking at the SE directed I see no relevant planets or points hit in the natal chart. Bush. Transits for Bush are: Jupiter exactly conjuncts natal highpoint area Moon conj Jupiter. Transit Jupiter here does not receive a Bindu in its own astakavarga (hitches on the day?)but it doesn't matter because support comes from other areas. Transit Venus (which is active) exactly opposes natal Sun and conjuncts directed SE Jupiter. (Hail the Chief). Transit Pluto conjuncts natal Ketu and opposes the important natal Rahu Uranus conjunction. Directed SE Venus is also in the same position as transit Pluto adding to the glamour of the occasion. Transit Rahu (exalted in his natal chart) comes close conjunction his natal MC in the 1`0th house showing resumption of power. AND THE WINNER IS GEORGE BUSH. It seems to me that horary often fails in these matters simply because the person is not really connected to the events that are in doubt. How is the Karma of a mundane event or sports event related to the Karma of the person? So there is a greater chance of the number given to be a product of wishful thinking or lacking in signification. Also to consider is if the person is betting.
