Guest guest
Today on a news broadcast (showing devastation for a specific area) I heard that the first wave of the tsunami rolled in at 9:45am. Unfortunately, I did not hear the location in Sri Lanka. Anyhow charting this time for Colombo (all on the same time zone) I note that the transiting Asc is 17 Capricorn 37:16 geocentric angles. This aspects MC by trine - but overshoots by just over 1*. It is however, in the same star and sub as MC - as is Solar Eclipse Mars. These three positions constitute a powerful Grand (Malefic) Trine. I was wondering whether the given time set by the Government astrologers of 12:43pm 22nd May 1972 was the proclamation. If the signing was say some 5 minutes later, this could account for the difference. Alternatively (and more likely), maybe the time I heard was noticed shortly after the event; or the place I heard on the news had their inundation 5 minutes later than the first waves to hit Sri Lanka elsewhere. Has any one heard or seen details of when the first waves struck anywhere on Sri Lanka? If the chart is correct the first wave should have been at 9:19:30am Ron Gaunt
