I have applied for Visa to visit my son in the US. Visa interview is on 13th May at around 10.30 scheduled. Will my visa be granted and will I be able to take off to US. Since I have to come back by June 9th for my son's admission, I shall also thank if you can advise me on which earliest date I can book my air tickets, on 15 th May morning fligth, 17th Morning flight or 19th Morning flight. Looks like I have to buy the tickets even before knowing if the visa is granted or not, as it is holiday season. I want to leave early and also if possible avoid losing 25 % of ticket money if I have to cancel, if visa is not granted or visa does not reach me in time. Blue Dart tells me to call on 14th May morning and they will tell me if my visa is granted and is on their hands for delivery to me. Delivery could take place on 14th itself or it may take 2-3 days. It may reach me on 15th or may not. Should I book on on 17th or 19th to be safe. My track record shows that I have gone out of the country only in Rahu Dasa Sun Bhukti 17th Sept 2001 to 19th Sept 2001 to Kuala Lumpur on a journalist trip. Otherwise it has been Mars periods where I have shifted residence. My wife and my second son too have applied for visa to come along.
