Get the upaya from the files of : / PARTIAL SOLAR ECLIPSE ON MARCH 19, 2007 Eclipse Begins at 6.08.00 Hours.(IST) Maximum of Eclipse at 8.02.00 Hours Eclipse Ends at 9.55.00Hours The upaya should be done any time on the March 19th itself before the sun sets. For this eclipse its bad to have natal sun in Aquarius, especially if its in Purva Bhadrapada nakshatra. Such a person should do Mrityunjaya mantra on the eclipse to ensure good health. On the solar eclipse we worship the devata associated with Surya. So most advise the worship of Shiva or Dakshinamurty during this eclipse. One of the best remedies for the Solar eclipse is thus the Mrityunjaya mantra for Shiva. The solar eclipse on 19/03/2007 will be maximum at 02:31 hrs UT and will happen in the first pada of Uttara Bhadra Nakshatra in Pisces. Transit Rahu is in Aquarius for past six months and was joined by for a month by the transit Sun, today the transit Sun has moved to Pisces. Rahu is in Purva Bhadra nakshatra. So if natal Sun is in Aquarius and in Purva Bhadra nakshatra, it was being under Rahu's influence for the past one month, hence effecting ? health of the native, has thus not the worst period passed for this conjunction? Transit Rahu may also activate Badhakesh if it is in the same sign. How will Sun eclipse in Uttara Bhadra Nakshatra in Pisces effect the above? The significations of the lagnesh will effect the native only if the natal Sun is also in Uttara Bhadra Nakshatra and close to the eclipse.
