Thus fortuna in 2nd house, improves one's weath, family etc. Fortuna in 5th will improve luck in speculation, in having lucky children etc. In reader 2 Oct 1971 edition, details are given on Pages 327 to 330. So far I know Fortuna has no special application in KP. Generally it is used in progressed chart. It is very sensitive point as it has direct relation with Ascendent, Sun and Moon together.It gives result in the dasha or period of Dispositor. Suppose if it is in capricorn Rashi and Uttarashadha star it will bestow luck in the main or sub period of Sun as Sun is the dispositor of Fortuna.When in major transits Fortuna is aspected badly the luck of the person will be affected.this much I can say at present. The Formula is - Ascendant + Moon - Sun = Fortuna Take the degrees of Ascendant in Your Chart. Add the Degrees of Moon in your Chart to it. From the result Minus the Degrees of Sun in your chart. The answer would be the Degreecal point where your Part of Fortune (Or Punya Saham)lies. That should be enough for you, at the moment. If this result is more than 360 then deduct 360. Once you get the long of Fortuna, you can calculate the Sign, degree, min ,sec. You can then place it in the house in your chart.
