Balaraama was born to Vasudeva and RohiNi in Vrepalle near Mathura in the house of Nanda and Yashoda while Vasudeva was in prison in Matthura. One week later Lord Krishna was born in Mathura to Devaki and Vasudeva while both of them were in prison This year Balaraama's Birth day fell on 28 August 2007, Tuesday and Lord Krishna's Birth day comes on 04 September 2007 , again a Tuesday . Both Balaraama and Krishna belong to Yadu Lineage, hence known as Yadus or Yaadavas. Yadu is the eldest son of King Yayaathi and Devayaani (d/o Sukraacharya). Yadu disobeyed his father Yayaathi and was deprived of Right to Rule. Hence Yaadavas including Balaraama and Krishna could become Kings, but only King makers. Though BalaRaama is elder to Krishna He always yielded to the wishes of Lord Krishna. Balaraama is Aadisesha and ofcourse every one knows that Lord Krishna is a full Avathaar of Lord Mahaa Vishnu. At the same time as Devaki is giving birth to Lord Krishna, Yashoda, in Vrepalle, gave birth to a girl Yoga Maaya (Sakti) Soon enough Krishna was taken to join His Elder Brother BalaRaama where as Yoga Maaya was brought back to prison in Matthura. We are now in 5227 Anno Domini of Lord Krishna's Jayanthi. Though this is known to one and all , let us all remember this day of our Lord Devaki Krishna Vaasudeva, Yashoda-Nanda Krishna later to become RaadhaKrishna . Gopaala Krishna. As promised ( SAMBHAVAAMI YUGE YUGE ) it is time for Lord Krishna to be born again and Bless the Humanity. You state that Lord Krishna is a full Avathaar of Lord Mahaa Vishnu. Srimad Bhagavat Mahapurana states, " ete camsa-kalah pumsah krsnastu bhagavan svayam " (SB 1/3/28) All the incarnations are either plenary portions or parts of the plenary portion of the Lord, but lord Sri Krsna is the Supreme personality of Godhead. And in the Bhagavad Gita, Krsna states: " mattah parataram nanyat kincid asti dhananjaya " (BG 7/7) O conqueror of wealth (Arjuna), there is no truth superior to Me. " In the Gopala-tapani Upanisad: (Purva 21) " eko vasi sarvagah krsna idya eko'pi san bahudha yo'vabhati " Lord Sri Krsna, is the only supreme personality who can bring every being under His sway. He is the Absolute Brahman, ommipres-ent and without a second - The divine object of everyone's worship. Although He is single, yet by the power of His inconceiva-ble potency He manifests Himself in a myriad of ;Forms, and performs variagated pastimes. There are many more sources. Where is the problem if we take Lord Vishnu as avtaara of Lord Krishna or vice versa. How long we people will compare God to God for their stature. One should try to know the God and should do the Bhakti, inspite of defining the God itrself. what is ur opinion on a well known fact that two avataaras, viz, Lord Rama and Lord Parashuraama were existing in same period, as two different people,even they were unaware of each other's presence and purposes, Laxman had a debate with Lord Parashuraam. The theme of avtaaras is misunderstood by the people, This is already evolved as Advaita,Read that pls. Namaskaram A.
