PT meets Sri Samadarshiniji, one of the most significant motivational speakers worldwide

GAURAV THAKUR Sri Samadarshiniji is a guide with the Oneness University and one of the most sought-after motivational speakers for corporates worldwide. She has conducted more than 2,000 talks so far and has directly impacted the lives of more than five million people. Under the guidance of Sri Mukateshwar Bhagawan (popularly known as Bhagawan) and his spouse Amma, Samadarshiniji creates awareness about the Oneness spiritual movement which is becoming hugely popular in India. She is best known for developing systems and strategies for bringing accelerated and lasting transformation in individuals across the globe. One of her most popular discourses is Break-Thru, which is hugely popular with corporates. Samadarshiniji conducted a Break-Thru session in Pune recently which attracted a huge crowd, amongst them were top city luminaries like educationist P D Patil, and district collector Prabhakar Deshmukh. In an exclusive interview with Pune Times anniversary edition, the distinguished speaker talks about how spirituality is on the move in society. Do you think spirituality is on the move? How is it changing with times and becoming dynamic? Of course, spirituality is on the move and is changing with times. Earlier, religion was very popular. The means to follow religion was through external practices. As spirituality becomes popular, the fact remains that it is more a process of internal exploration. It is a form of self-help which has a two-fold function — achieving progress in the material world and a process of attaining higher consciousness. Youngsters are taking to spirituality in a big way. What do you think is driving this? That’s a valid point. In the last couple of years, youngsters indeed are being drawn towards spirituality like never before. Life is becoming comfortable and meaningless. Spirituality is a quest for meaning in life. This process of drawing towards spirituality is explained by Amma and Bhagawan as follows: Life is lived in three levels. In the first level, there is suffering for necessities. The second level is that of spiritual awakening when people have got necessities but are struggling with their relationships. This is when they start seeking spirituality. The third level is when people don’t really have any physical or relationship related problems. Still nothing satisfies them. It is an effort to getting mukti. Even when people take to drugs, it is a process to forget themselves and get mukti, though it is a wrong way to go about it. The right way to seek mukti is spirituality. This continuous dissatisfaction leads them to the path of spirituality. The West is being attracted to the Indian form of spirituality more and more. What do you think governs this? It is true that people from the West as well as other countries are taking to Indian spirituality. See, each country stands for something and has characteristic ethos, like for example, the Great Britain stands for parliamentary form of democracy, or France for liberty. Similarly, India’s genius is mukti or spiritual awakening. India can lead the world spiritually, especially with the huge popularity of movements like Oneness across the world and the power of Deeksha. Under Oneness, Bhagawan talks about empowering people with Deeksha, who in turn can get Deeksha to others. So, with so many people getting awakened, India can lead the world in spirituality in a more easy way. The growing popularity of other spiritual movements like the Oneness further strengthens this. Could you tell us about the popular corporate programme Break-Thru? Break-Thru is a corporate programme we undertake to enable professionals achieve a breakthrough in both their professional life and relationships. People don’t get a breakthrough in their life because they keep doing the same old thing. The Break-Thru programme, designed under the guidance of Amma and Bhagawan at the Oneness University in the Golden City, Varadayapalem, in Andhra Pradesh, talks about getting your mind into a state of higher consciousness. Break-Thru works on your unconscious part and relationships and makes you effective. It teaches you how to deal with fear and pain and be in a state of breakthrough. Can miracles happen in somebody’s life? Whether miracles can happen in anybody’s life is increasingly being debated in today’s time. Let me tell you that if you believe miracles can happen in your daily life, they would happen. But, before that, we should understand what miracles are. Once a seeker came to Bhagawan and asked him if he performs miracles. Bhagawan explained to him that he does not do miracles, he only does what can be done under the Higher Laws of the Universe. If you know the higher laws, miracles would happen in your life. My advise is to have faith in miracles — life will be less painful that way. Incidentally, the Oneness University has built a temple at the Golden City which was inaugurated recently. The temple works on your chakras and endeavours to make you a balanced person, which is important to understand the Higher Laws of the Universe. Sri Samadarshiniji, is one of the most popular motivational speakers
