Very urgent - Please help us to solve this problem

Dear Sirs,

 

My date of birth - 15th july 1973. Place: Madurai, India.

Time: 4:20 a.m.

 

My wife's date of birth - 4th June 1980. Place: Bangalore,India.

Time: 6:05 a.m.

 

My first baby Sahana's date of birth: 1st December 2007

Place: San Antonio,TX, U.S.A. Time: 4:20 p.m.

 

My wife is now pregnant and her due date is November 15, 2008.

This is second baby for us after Sahana(1st baby born on 1st

December 2007).

After ultrasound scanning, we found that the second baby is boy and

it is having cleft palate problem(abnormal growth of mouth). Doctor

advised to take for deep ultrasound scanning to see how extent the

abnormality is. We are going for ultrasound scanning next week also.

Doctor told us that we have to do surgery after the birth of the

baby to resolve this problem. But I dont know whether the scar will

be available till life long. I am really feeling bad for my baby boy

as he will feel inferiority complex in his full life.

 

Please let me know what should I do to avoid this cleft palate? Any

slokas or manthras should I do everyday?

 

Please help us.

just now I read the thread of yr query re the new arrival.

 

 

the due date is quite a while away -15th nov 08.

 

by that time the cleft may narrow or even close to a great extent.

 

In any case cleft palates are very well corrected due to advance in

maxillo-facial surgical techniques.

 

the scars are not visible as these are very much inside the mouth

If there is associated cleft lip -that also can be fully repaired with

hardly any scar, it is so minute as surgical techniques are very much

advanced nowadays.

 

I would say do not worry. But you can pray for the well being of the

baby and for divine intervention or take a vow to your family deity to

protect and heal the infant even before the birth so he does not need

surgical procedures. On the birth of yr healthy baby make appropriate

offering and pooja in yr native place temple. perhaps, Madurai

Meenakshi is yr family deity?
