Guest guest
Dear Dennis ji, In astrology a house and a rasi are two different things. Some followers of the Indian system take a house as synonymous with a rasi. Others, we included, make a difference between the two. We follow the classic system of Bhav-spashtha. In this system the expanse of a Bhav { house } may not neccessarily be the same as that of a rasi. A bhav could spill over into the other rasi. We believe that even while applying the Lal Kitab principles [ which are by and large the same as Vedic ] a horoscope should be studied according to the Bhav { house }. If you need further clarifications read from the file section an article on Bhav spashtha in the Lalkitab_remedies group. You would know the logic behind this exercise. This is according to Parasari system, too. Is this the system used in lal Kitab? What does the author says about the system of houses? > Regards, > Dionisis >
Guest guest
Dear Chandraji, I have read the file you recomend and it is very well written indeed. Still, my questions are on a slightly different subject. I understand Bhav-spashtha to be a way to rectify the house calculations and thus it is a mathematical tool, not a system in itself. But, my questions are about what the ancient sages and Rishis , as Parasara or Brigu, say about the matter, as well as what the writer of Lal Kitab says about it,too. Of course, the great Astrologers talk more about the interpretation than calculations but maybe in some classic book of astrology or Lal Kitab there are hints , if not straight answers, about the writer's opinion on the subject. Guest guest
Dear Dennis ji, The Lal Kitab is entirely based on the Bhav { house or khana as called in the LK} system, so much so that the beginners are advised to erase the Rasi from the horoscope and write the house numbers instead. Bhav system is the most authentic classic system. regards, Chandra Prakash , " Dennis " <mprgrandmaster wrote: > > Dear Chandraji, > I have read the file you recomend and it is very well written indeed.
