Ketu in 6th never produces good results but Ketu is auspicious in 12th Houes. Does this mean we should do remedies to place Ketu in 12th? If the answer is yes, then what are the suggested remedies? If the answer is no, please advise accordingly. The best upaya then would be to keep on the roof of the house a handful of black & white til in a brass container. This would mean to hand over the Ketu to Jupiter and reach it to the 12th house. For this the Book says : " raat aaraam ameeri uttam, baqi asar sab uttam ho " The only precaution to be taken would be that there should be no enemy planet of Ketu in the 6th and no enemy planet of Jupiter in the 9th or 12th house. To carry forward this discussion, I'd like to ask couple of more queries: 1. Please can you advise on need of taking care of Jup's enemy planets in 9th house ? 2. Assuming, we have Mars in 6th Mouse and we have moved ketu to 12th. Now Mars is " mahavat " and Rahu is " mast haathi " . Does this mean, Mars will score over Rahu? Can Rahu deliver results as expected. If not, what should be done? 3. Mars in 6th is in house of Mercury and is a enemy of Mercury.So, what upay should be done for Mars while ensuring Rahu should deliver good results. I am sorry for asking these many queries but I'd like not to miss any opportunity to learn from you. Please advise. It can not be any 'til' { sesame seeds }. The 'til' have to be gifted by wife/husband { shukra }. In case the Jatak is not married then the 'til' can be gifted by a lady servant or a lady subordinate { 6th house represents servants and subordinates }. Such 'til' can then be placed on the roof in a brass container, subject to the precautions you have mentioned. The natal Ketu stays where it is. When we place a karak object of Ketu on the roof of the house it inherently means that the Ketu of the 6th house has been moved. A ketu placed any where else in the kundali can not be moved to the 12th house except the one which is situated in the 6th house. In case there is an enemy of Jupiter in the 9th house then shifting ketu to the 12th through the hands of Jupiter { brass bowl} will not be advisable unless the enemy planet has been neutralized. Whether it is worth neutralizing the planet in the 9th will have to be examined before moving Jupiter to the 12th. [ 2 ] Once again if there is Mars in the 6th, Ketu can not be moved to the 12th unless Mars is taken care of. The 6th house is the jar { root } of ketu. The condition to be kept in mind while moving Ketu is that there should be no enemy planet in the 6th house. Mars and Ketu are mutual enemies. Mars and Rahu combination in the 6th house is considered as very good. [ 3 ] Mars and Mercury are not mutual enemies. Mars considers mercury as its enemy, but mercury considers Mars as ‘sam’ or neutral. The best upaya for Mars in the 6th is to feed young kanyas and seek their blessing after touching their feet.
