Why Sabut Badaam for shani

Hard wooden shell containes the darkness that engulfs the giri in the

badam. this darkness (ANDHERA) is the item particularly associated

with shani here. this darkness is placed on the altar of temple to

make it swear to do no harm. 10 are placed on this altar out of which

5 (KHANNA NO 5)are brought home and 5 are left at the temple to ward

off any mischief by making the darkness/shani here constantly remember

the pledge sworn to it of doing no harm to the native. there are many

items associated with shani but darkness is the purest shape; out of

bounds of shape; size; material, quantum etc and no other item is more

appropriate of this item than sabut badaam.
