vedic or non-vedic/ Shri Kiranjit ji

Dr. sahib; lalkitab is not unvedic and shashtri jyotish is not 100%

traditional (what u call vedic). yawan or foriegn influence has been

acknowledged in the texts .varahmir, neelkanthi etc.

the parashar granths are also believed to be about 5-6 centuries old.

lalkitab in its approach is very much vedic compared with these

texts.

secondly pt. RupChand joshi has himself written that the method of

understanding these books is of ABHAYAS. he advised to revise these

books again and again and it shall reveal it's secrets. pt ji didn't

gave his name in any of the publications so the condition of

understanding him as a prior condition to understand lk seems to be

far streched.

i hope some member with sound knowledge of facts will throw light on

the subject 1. what is the criteria for a text to be called vedic?

2. whether lalkitab has any nonvedic concepts?
