Respected Bhupider ji,

 

Jupiter in the 5th with a friendly planet in the 9th means that the

jupiter is awakened [ jagaa hua ], therefore jupiter being a male

planet would give a son.

 

The gender of the planet in the 9th has no relation with the gender

of the child. It is the gender of the planet in the 5th which

influences the gender of the child.
