Respected Raheja ji,

 

In the combination of Rahu + venus, the venus is poisoned by Rahu.

This can be counteracted through the Moon. If the venus and the moon

are brought together, the malefic affect of the Rahu will be

neutralized.

 

Therefore the Book suggests a ` mushtarqa upaya of venus + moon' of

gifting milk [ moon ] added with butter [ venus ]

 

Making a wife wear a silver chhalla is another form of the

same `mushtarqa' upaya where wife [ venus ] and a silver chhalla [

moon ] are combined.

 

Therefore the upaya is NOT done by the wife, it will be taken as

done by the husband himself where the wife is taken as a karak of

venus for the upaya.
