Upaya to be done for 43 days. Why 43 days?

Respected astrologers,

 

Sir in the Lalkitab group it has been suggested that the figure 43

reached because 3 rounds of 12 houses = 36 add 4 for the 4th house =

40 and add 3 thus making 43 days.

 

Sir this looks very arbitrary. What if some thing is to be buried then

the mathematics should be 3x12 = 36 add 6 for the 6th house = 42 and

add 3 grace days = 45 days.

 

Sir could you please throw some light on the logic of upaya mostly

done for 43 days.
