Upaya to be done for 43 days. Why 43 days? / Rohit

Respected Rohit ji,

 

If what you claim has been said then it is wrong. The 43 days have

nothing to do with 3 rounds of 12 rasi etc.

 

The Lal Kitab gives two reasons to arrive at 40 days + 3 riyaytee

days figure.

 

1952 Urdu ed: page 36 note # 2 says

 

` chunki ginti ke lambe hisab ko is ilma mein udane ke liye 28

nakshatra aur 12 rasiyon ko baad mein chhor hi diya jata hai isliye

dono ki jama 28+12 = 40 din kam z kam ya jyada se jyada 43 din

riyaytee tak upaya ka asar poora hoga'

 

The same as above has been said on page 85 / lines 3 & 4 of 1942 Urdu

ed.

 

Therefore the first reason to get the upaya done for a minimum of 40

days and a maximum of 43 days is the number arrived at by adding the

number of 28 constellations and 12 zodiac signs. Three days have

been added as riyaytee [ of concession]

 

The second reason for the upaya to be done for at least 40 days is :

 

The 1942 edition while discussing the years of deceit [ dhoke ke

saal ] during the maha dasha period claims that there will be 40

such years in a life time. The 40 days of upaya is for these 40

years.

 

" in hi 40 mande saalon ke dhoke ko kholne ke liye 40 din

riyaytee….' [ 1942 urdu ed: page 76 / line 16 ]

 

" 40 saal ke dhoke vale asar ke liye 40 din ka aam upaya ya chalees

riyaytee ka arsa mana hai " [ 1942 Urdu ed : Page 80 / line 26 ]

 

Therefore the second reason to decide upon 40 days upaya is based on

the concept of 40 years of possible deceit during the mahadashas.

 

As per the Lal Kitab these are the two reasons for doing the upaya

for a minimum of 40 days.
