Guest guest
Dear Kulbir bhai, The note marked as `A' on page 109 of 1941 edition reads : " bawaqt shadi safed gaay ka dan gair mubarik hoga " It will be inauspicious to gift a white cow at the time of marriage. ; `bawaqt' meaning at the time of marriage. This instruction goes well with what has been said earlier that before the jatak starts earning he should have either got married or should have karaks of Venus in the house. Therefore it is quite understandable that gifting away of the karak of venus [ cow ] will not be advisable. In the 1942 edition page 157 the foot note marked " A " at the end of the page reads identical to the note " A " of the 1941 edition. There is no difference in the note " A " in both the editions. Have a nice day, Varun , " kulbirbance " <kulbirbance wrote: > > Varun ji, the gutka ' for shukr 11 says bawaqt shadi safed gai ka daan > gair mubarak hoga. page 108-9. the hidi translation of 1942 says bewaqt > (bina waqt ) shadi , safed gai ka daan gair mubarak hoga. Which is the > actual word , it means shadi ke waqt, ya bina shadi ke waqt. > sincerely > kulbirbance. >
