Respected Members,

Context : Saturn in 2nd house

1941 urdu gutka page 158 line # 12

Khuda parast hoga, hasb-e-haisiyat gujran hoti rahe

1942 urdu edition : page 208 line # 21

Khuda parast hoga, hasb-e-haisiyat gujran hoti rahe

1952 urdu edition : page 598 lines 8 & 9

Nek bura khwah koi baithe, aath ,9ve, 10,12 jo

Hasb-e-haisiyat zindagi gujare, zinda jabhi tak rahata ho

The book has consistently maintained that a person with

Saturn in the 2nd house will lead a life befitting /according to

his status till he lives [ hasb-e-haisiyat ]. This concept is

further elaborated in the 1952 book by adding that it will

be a certainty if there are planets in the 8th,9th,10th,or 12th

house irrespective of whether they are benefics or malefics.

Now the contradiction:

The contradiction arises in the following note when the

same lines quoted above are further elaborated as:

1952 urdu edition page 599; note # 5

had darja ki udaasi ka malik hoga

{khana # 8,9,10,12 mein koi na koi grah zaroor hoga}

How can a person who is predicted to lead a

hasb-e-haisiyat life be a malik of had darje ki

udaasi . [ lead a life according to his status be

suffering from melancholia or sadness in

its extreme form ? ]

This is the contradiction.

We believe that here the word should have been

‘udaaseen, or udaaseenta’ or detached from

worldly materialism, unattached, virakta.

According to the Vedic astrology a Saturn in the

2nd house does inculcate the feeling of not being

attached to the worldly allurements. He leads a

life of detachment.

Therefore we believe that there is a misprint

The word should be ‘udaaseen’ and not udaasi.

Since these words signify two entirely different

states of mind therefore it is crucial to put a

correct word in the text.

And hence the sentence should have read :

had darja ki udaaseenta ka malik hoga

OR had darja ka udaaseen hoga

{ khana # 8,9,10,12 mein koi na koi grah zaroor hoga}

Regards,

Varun Trivedi
