Guest guest
Dear Trivedi jee, Thanks for you kind note. I would also like to thank you for dispelling my doubts on the usage of varga charts vis-à¶is the LK. It was not my intention to cast aspersions at anyone. I simply shared an observation. I have had this observation since the time when I witnessed some high and mighty LK practitioners at pains to prove that the LK is not related with Vedic astrology and "must" not be "corrupted" by "mixing" up with the VA. I have also witnessed the humiliation of some people who dared to think logically and tried to question the deliberate myths that have always shrouded the LK. For example, Prof. Upadhyay of IIT-D, who was an active participant in an LK , was vehemently berated by a coterie of LK practitioners. You were also ridiculed and humiliated for supporting the Professor, who ultimately stopped participating in that group. I do not think that I pointed fingers at any one's credibility or capabilities. I just narrated what I was told by many people whom I have talked and personally met over the past 3 years. I know an author who has written a book on the LK, published by Pustak Mahal. This author believes and maintains that the VA does not work and the LK and the VA are poles apart. Not to say, such people have done a significant harm to the cause of the LK, which, as per me, is helping people overcome their day-to-day problems so that they may raise their families to the best of their capabilities (before anything else). In absence of a clear understanding and realisation of the true meaning of the LK, the masses are not able to use its true potential because the LK practitioners themselves are misguided. In this backdrop, my words might appear a tiny bit caustic, but this is what I feel. Entitled to an individual opinion, you may or may not agree with it. Thanks and regards, Dhiraj Has your work life balance shifted? Find out.
Guest guest
Respected Mishra ji, Yes, all of us who had dared to think rationally had been jeered at; but that hasn’t wavered our enthusiasm to say what we felt was logical. Unfortunately some people had been propagating that the LK is at variance with VA. It is surprising that how could a part be at variance with the whole. Such views isolated the LK even more and it was looked down upon as a book of ‘tona & totkas’. Lal Kitab was not taken seriously in the community of astrologers. Things have improved over the past few years. All those who thought that LK is different from the VA have been silenced long back because they had virtually nothing to share. They had no contribution to make by way of new insights into the Lal Kitab.. Any way they are so few in numbers that their voice no longer counts. There is no functioning group on the net which carries their views. They have long been marginalized. But we have nothing against them. They have a right to have their own opinion. Today the most popular astrology group on the net is that of our Guru ji Pt. Bhooshan Priya [ retd Prof Upadhyay of IIT Delhi ], and the most informative and research oriented group on Lal Kitab is this group. Therefore it is these two groups which have become the authoritative voice of the Lal Kitab on the internet. The voice is clear and loud : Lal Kitab is a part of the Vedic Astrology; it is a sub system of VA. The two together are complimentary to each other and are not at variance with each other. Only those who are well versed in Vedic Astrology, can be good and intuitive Lal Kitab astrologers. Vedic Astrology is the foundation on which the knowledge of Lal Kitab has to be built up. Unless the foundation is strong, the edifice would not last. Regards, Varun Trivedi , Dhiraj Mishra <tula_lagna wrote: > > Dear Trivedi jee, > > Thanks for you kind note.
