A little later 1952 urdu ed : page 898 line # 8 Maut fanda ghar athvan hote nag zamana marta ho ( this line is missing in the 1952 Arun Sanhita ) If the combination occurs in the 8th house, then he will either die or has to bear the pain equivalent to death [ mrityu tulya kashta]during the Saturn years [nag zamana]. In the commentary under the shubh halat the houses mentioned are 2,9 and 12th and as per the tradition the book says that in the rest of the houses these planets will give their own individual effect.; Similarly under the ashubh halat the houses mentioned are the 7th and the 9th. Once again it is said that in the rest of the houses these planets will give their own individual effect. Because there is no mention of the 8th house in either of the two conditions above, normally it would be taken to mean that the combination will give its individual effect in the 8th house. Since there is a malefic effect mentioned for the 8th house as quoted above, I think this result should be added in the Book under the ashubh halat against the 8th house. There would be a necessity of even modifying the earlier quote ghar panch ta jab athavan baitha to read as ghar panch ta jab satvan baitha the word athvan has to be dropped from this line.
