Burn three kauris (yellow colored) in an earthen pot using coal as fuel and throw the ash in jungle or river. Can anyone please explain the principle behind this remedy. In other words, what role the different elements play and in what manner is Mercury appeased. I mean the elements: fire, kauri, ash, coal, earthen pot and jungle or river water.....How does it work? A similar remedy exists for Mercury in 12 th house where 12 kauris are to be used. But, I believe it's important to first understand the working principle. There is no mention of the same upaya for the mercury in the 12th house. The idea is to completely remove the poison of mercury and hence burning the kaudis. Kaudis are a karak of malefic mercury. The figure of 3 is related to the house mercury is placed in. Astrologers suggest that it be burned on kachcha coal [ rahu ] in an earthen pot [ mercury] although no such specific instruction is given in the book. The ash [ mercury ] be immersed in the river means that it is distanced away from the native. I do not think that throwing the ash in a jungle is the correct practice. If it is not known we are always keen to learn from others. To say " iska ek aasan tarika hai " and then instead of sharing the tareeqa asking others how would they do it is against the spirit of this group. There is a very simple method of burning the kaudis to ash. The kaudis are first crushed into bareek choora [ small grains ]in an imamdasta / kharal and then burnt. Burning a whole kaudi would take a lot of time, a lot of coal and may be the whole day. Ash ho jaane par bhi to look at in ki shape vaisi hi original rahegi-----laundia ka hath(zidd); jab ki asal men voh raakh ho chuki hongi.
