Guest guest Posted November 17, 2008 Report Share Posted November 17, 2008 Respected Raheja ji, While talking about the upaya for the Mars in the 8th house the Book says that for malefic mars in the 8th house the upaya suggested for malefic mars in the 4th house can be done. Burying honey in a cemetery/shamshan is one of the upaya suggested for Mars in the 4th house at the time of lavaldi and aurat, aulad ki barbadi. With this in mind the upaya can be suggested if there is a problem of progeny or if the wife is in some kind of a trouble. You are right that this upaya can have an adverse effect on the jatak if his 3rd house is afflicted. If there is a malefic in the 3rd house and if there is no mitigating influence on the 3rd house, then this upaya can adversely affect the brother of the native. Therefore this upaya should be used cautiously, and only if there is some benefic in the 3rd house or it has an aspect of a benefic. As a matter of fact all upaya needing to bury some thing should be advised after due care.
