Means the mud of a pond shud be pasted at roof.This remedy is adviced to make venus exalted U know that Mud is the ASHIA of SHUKKAR & Shukkar is called OONCH (exalted)in Khana 12th only. Just to add to what you have already said the reference of a roof has been made at quite a few places in the Lal Kitab and as you have rightly inferred , it indicates the house # 12th. A roof is the top which is open to the sky and that is why it can be considered as house # 12.
