Guest guest Posted December 19, 2008 Report Share Posted December 19, 2008 Respected Doctor Saheb, For venus in the 4th house : Page 97 line # 4; 1941 urdu ed : ‘ dariya ki hai vo daldal, talab ki voh chikdee’ Page 98 line # 5-6 ; 1941 urdu ed : ‘ to chhat par talab ki mitti se umda haal ho’ Page 150 , line # 11 ; 1942 urdu ed ‘ to chhat par talab ki mitti [ chikadee] se umda hal ho’ Yes, the 1952 urdu edition says, ‘ makan ki chhat ki umda halat aurat ki sehat mein madad hogi’. To our mind it means the same in the sense that talab ki chikani mitti on the roof will keep the roof in good shape. In the villages the kachcha houses had kachchi roof which used to be repaired every year before the rains with the help of chikani mitti from the village talab.
