A deewar without a roof is a significator of Saturn. Any association of Mars with mercury will result in a Saturn of rahu swabhav. 7th house belongs to mercury and venus jointly. Therefore mars placed in the 7th is in a way associated with mercury. If the mercury is malefic, then this placement of mars here will lead to a malefic Saturn [ rahu swabhav] Since demolishing a deewar is symbolic of demolishing the Rahu swabhav Saturn hence this upaya.
