Guest guest
Respected Rucheka ji, If an upaya object is to be worn on a hand then in the case of a male jatak it has to be the left hand, where as for a female jatak it has to be the right hand. Lal Kitab describes the left hand of a male as of rasi phal for himself and the right hand that of grah phal. For a female it is the right hand which is of rasi phal for herself and the left hand that of grah phal . Where as the left hand of the wife is of Rasi phal for the jatak and her right hand is of grah phal. Similarly, for the wife the left hand of the husband is of grah phal and his right hand is of rasi phal. [ 1952 urdu ed; page 160 ; notes # 5 -8] It is logical that any upaya object, if to be worn for himself by a male, then it will have to be on the hand which has been designated as that of rasi phal for the Jatak. Therefore, while doing an upaya for themselves, a male jatak should wear the upaya object on the left hand where as a female on her right hand.
