If a jatak has Jupiter + Rahu combination and if his Ketu is manda [ beta nalayak ho] then one of the remedies suggested by Lal Kitab is to wear a ring of Ketu stone [ two colour stone] after washing it with jootha [ left over ] water of a cow every day. This remedy has to be done along with another necessary remedy done simultaneously and that is to donate the karak vastu of Mars. On the face of it, this is obvious that the nature of Ketu is being changed through Venus [ jootha water of a cow]. Both venus and the Ketu are mutual friends. But why will it be necessary to donate the karak vastu of Mars? Let us examine the equation. Jupiter = Sun + Venus Rahu = Mars + Saturn and Venus + Saturn form a Ketu Therefore the equation becomes = sun + mars + ketu Ketu is being taken care of through the upaya of washing the ketu ring with jootha water of the cow. But what to be done about the Mars in the combination? sher aur kutte ki larayee. Therefore in order to distance the Mars, donating its karak vastu has been made mandatory. Therefore the left over [jootha] water of a cow is venus + saturn = Ketu [uchcha] Hence used to strengthen Ketu. Guest guest Posted July 19, 2009 Report Share Posted July 19, 2009 Dear Kulbir bhai, Yes it is true that a vastu gets all the more 'pavitra' and auspicious after it has been offered as a 'bhog' to a deity, but in this case I believe the jootha water of the cow has been used for astrological reasons. If you had noticed the first upaya for Jupiter + Rahu suggested is 'chandra ka upaya'. Hence the use of water.
