Umesh ji, Vipin Shukla ji, Kulbir ji, Mahajan ji, Leekha ji, Pradeep Sharma ji, Dr Kapatjal ji Dear LK scholars, I have not been able to reconcile two contradictory statements regarding Jupiter in the Lal Kitab. Could you please help me reconcile them logically? " Brahaspati no. 2 aur khana 8 ke khali ke waqt par Brahaspati manda hi hoga, ya Brahaspati ki hawa mandi aandhi hogi jo har tarah ka nuksaan karegi" [ 1952 urdu ed; page 60; note # 3 ] `When the Jupiter is in the 2nd house while the 8th house is unoccupied, Jupiter will be `manda' [malefic]; in other words the air of Jupiter will be a malefic storm [mandi aandhi] which will do damage/harm in all forms [ har tarah ka nuksaan] Later the Book says : " guru jagat ghar doosara ho". The line is over marked with [2] for a footnote which says "[2] jab tak no. 8 khali barhaspati ka roohani asar uttam hoga" [ 1952 urdu ed; page 239; note# 2 ] "when the Jupiter is in the 2nd" so long as the 8th is unoccupied the roohani asar [spiritual/metaphysical effect] of the Jupiter will be good. The first statement quoted above says `Brahaspati ki hawa mandi aandhi hogi jo har tarah ka nuksaan karegi'. This is an all inclusive blanket statement. There are no exceptions mentioned. Where as the second statement talks of `roohani asar uttam hoga'. [ 1 ] What makes this `roohani asar' to be good in spite of `har tarah ka nuksaan'? [ 2 ] What spares the `Roohani asar' from being adversely affected? [ 3 ] Why doesn't the ` mandi hawa ki aandhi' of Jupiter affect the ` roohani' aspect of the native? Ap ki samsya ke samadhan ka yeh ek prayas hai Mujhe aisa lagata hai ki jab adarneeya pt. Roopchand ji ek taraf Brahaspati ke mande hone ki bat karte hain aur doosari tarf Brahaspati ke roohani asar ke uttam bane rahne ki bat karte hain, to sambhavtah pandit ji Brahaspati ke sthool aur sookshm pahaloo ko dhyan mein rakhkar kar rahe hain. Brahaspati ke sthool swaroop ke karak pita,guru,vriddhjan, yash, maan-samman ityadi hain, yeh sabhi sansarik mamlen hain. Aur Brahaspati ke sookshm swaroop ke karak adhyatmikta, adhyatmik chintan, adhyatmik pravrirti, fakkadpan,faqeeri, sadhu swabhav ityadi hai. Doosare bhav mein baitha brahaspati supta avastha mein hoga agar 8va bhav khali ho. Magar dekhana yah hai ki Brahaspati ka kuan sa paksha supta hoga, sthool ya sookshma. Sthool jad hai aur sookshma chetan. Jo chetan hai wah kabhi nahi sota aur jo jad hai wah supt ho sakta hai. Isliye jab Brahaspati 2 mein ho aur 8 khali ho to Brahaspati ka sthool ya jad ansha supt ho sakta hai, chetan ya sookshma ansha jagrit hi rahega. shayad isi liye pt. Roopchand ji ne kaha ki doosare bhav mein baitha Brahaspati jab bhav 8 khali ho to sansarik mamlon ke liye manda ho bhi jaye parantu adhyatmik mamlon mein uska prabhav uttam hi rahega.
