Guest guest
Sirs, For venus in the 7th house with the 1st house not occupied the Arun sanhita says shukra soya hua ya manda na hoga balki uttam prabhav dega, parayi stree ki lagan aur gussa barbadi ki neev hogi. Sir why should stree ki lagan or gussa be the cause of barbadi? Respectfully, HS Gill
Guest guest
Respected Gill Sahib, When Venus is in 7th house, Mars is considered negative. With gussa, one would be effectuating or enhancing the negative effects of Mars. If house number 1 is blank, then 7th house is dormant also. Anger also is a representation of the 1st house, so with anger, an activation of this house would also further result in drishti on the 7th, where Venus would already by its placement deem Mars to be negative. An attrubute of Mars in 1st house is the fact the person tends to be fiery in nature. When ghee (Venus) and honey (Mars) are mixed in equal parts, it produces poison. This has also been noted in Goswami's Lal Kitab translation edition. So by engaging in overt anger, the native would be enhancing the negative (revengeful) effects of Mars, which would in turn also be activating the 1st house (anger), from where dhristi on the 7th house (where Venus' placement makes Mars already negative) would further the negative effects onto the native. Think of the image of a fiery revengeful (chaste) Hanuman or army commander trying to co-mingle with a virtuous Lakshmi or beautiful (sensual) damsel - This would hardly create a situation of common values, peace or compatibility for the native's life. This would result in misfortune, losses and overall lack of happiness. Guest guest
Respected Gill Sahib, I stand corrected by one our esteemed seniors. The activation of anger in the 1st house more closely effectuate the activation of Sun, which in turn would burn the results of Venus in the 7th. Mars (anger / revengefullness) would also be an attribute. I hope this further clarity answers the question you raised. Guest guest
Respected Gill sahib, [ Adding on to what respected Iqbal ji has said] Venus per se gives benefic results in the 7th house even if it is dormant [soya hua] but it could get hostile and start giving results such as ‘barbadi’ or be the root cause of ‘barbadi’. Thinking aloud, there could be three reasons for Venus to get hostile and start giving adverse results. [a] Any kind of liaison with other woman, other than your wedded wife, would turn Venus hostile. Any liaison or attraction can activate Moon [man] because the ‘man’ is the first thing that strays the thoughts. [c] Anger can activate the Sun, as respected Iqbal ji has rightly said. Therefore ‘parayi stree ki lagan’ will not only make venus hostile but would also activate moon; anger would activate the Sun. Both the sun and the moon being enemies of the venus could make Venus negative and malefic. Guest guest
Varun ji, venus in 7 is associated with dimagi khanna no. 31 '' which is related to power to decipher the difference between ''MILK & CURD '' However this power is further dependent upon house no 8 '' mandi halat point no 12 & 13'' venus in 7 without any control/drishti from first house is at mercy of mangal and shani '' gussa and adultery'' due to vacancy of house no 8, house no 6 also aggrivates the problem; henceforth if house no 1 is occupied, the chances of the native falling prey to these vices is less but if both 1 & 8 are vacant, the other planets position might save the native to some extent. But seen in isolation chances of native going astray weigh heavily against him. Regards. Guest guest
Dear Kulbir bhai, Very well put. I had entirely missed the condition of the 8th house associated with Venus in the 7th. You are right that if the 1st and the 8th houses are vacant, then Venus could be susceptible to vices. Thanks for this new perspective.
