Guest guest
Sirs. For mars and sun together the Arun sanhita says that the result of mata, mata bhagya, and khajana etc will not be good. Why should this combination harm the mata bhagya? thanks. Girish Raheja
Guest guest
Raheja ji, The relevant context that I found in farmaans is as follows. Farmaan no. 133. When sun and mars get together, the heat produced is such that venus is put under duress. Moon in order to rescue venus starts evaporating and rushes towards sun. The result is that it spoils its benefic traits. Regards. Kulbir. Guest guest
Respected Raheja ji, Very dear Kulbir ji had already explained so very beautifully the process as to how the Moon gets depleted when Mars and the sun get together. I am putting forward yet another possibility: That in this context it does not seem true that the maata bhagya will get adversely affected if a person has mars and the sun together in his horoscope. Such problems of misunderstanding arise out of careless transliteration. The actual statement is: ‘ aise teve mein chandra ( mataa, mataa bhaag, khazana vagairah Chandra ki ashiya) manda ya halka hi hoga magar chandra kushti na hoga’ [page 802;1952 urdu ed] The misunderstanding has risen because the phrase mataa bhaag has been interpreted as mataa ka bhagya which is wrong. The phrase mataa bhaag means mataa paksha and not her bhagya. If you notice in the actual quote the phrase is mataa bhaag. Even if we assume that in colloquial Punjabi the word bhaag is normally used for the word bhaagya, even then the phrase should have been mataa ka bhaag and not mataa bhaag. Therefore the phrase mataa bhaag in this context means that a person with mars and the sun together will not get much support / care etc from the mother’s side [ mataa paksha] In other words the native may not get the benefits of and from the significations of the Moon, but the moon per se will not be adversely affected i.e. magar Chandra kushti na hoga. It is only the significations of the moon for the native which could be adversely affected but not the Moon itself. The bhagya of the mother could have been affected only if the Moon it self was affected, but that is not the case here. Guest guest
Varun ji, Thanks for this clarification. Another point linked to sun and mars together is on page 380 of gutka. ''sun and mars may become associated in any house but the effect of house no. 1 will be produced'' and house no. 1 casts direct aspect upon house no. 7. Regards. Guest guest
Dear Kulbir bhai, Yes, very true. It will be true in all cases of the pakka house owner and the house owner of that house coming together. Guest guest
Varun ji, While surfing for the this topic i.e. Moon content depleting from Venus, I came across a general remedy in pt. Chandra Muni Pathak's book that applying pumpkin ''kadoo'' oil and sitting in moonlight helps. Kindly help me understand as to what does pumpkin oil represents and the logic of this remedy. Regards. Guest guest
Dear Kulbir bhai, Sitting in the moonlight is understandable. It can be an upaya to strengthen Moon. But I have no idea what kaddoo oil is all about; never heard of it. Kaddoo is a karak of mercury [ref: page 131, Sumat Prasad]. How to get an oil from a kaddoo and what could it's oil be a karak of? No idea what so ever. For all I know it could be a traditional folk remedy. Guest guest
Varun ji, I think he is refferring to pumpkin Seed oil. '' chandrama ki poorti ke liye chandi ke bartan ka jal paan karein aur chandni raat me kaddoo ka tel lagakar lagatar 1 ghanta chandani raat me baitha karein ,doodh ki maalish karke baithna bhi laabh prad hai'' it seems kaddo ka teil here means kadoo ke beejon ka teil. Guest guest
Dear Kulbir bhai, I wouldn't know who is the karak of the kernel oil of kaddoo seed. In our area the kernel of tarbooz, kharbooz and kaddoo seeds along with gulkand is used in thandai during summer months. The taseer [nature] of the kernel of these seeds is considered as thandi [cool]. That could possibly be the reason for suggesting kaddoo ka tel. It may not have any astological significance. Guest guest
Respect Kulbir Ji and Varun Ji, Pumpkin seed oil has been used in Wicca Traditions for white Magic. Also, most of their magic instructions ask to follow magic ritual on the full moon.
