I think all it is due to the participation of sun.Sun itself is a part of masnuyee body of mars & moon( both r enemies of saturn).except this there is given a thumb rule also at page mo. 226 in Lalkitab 1952 edition.More details can be read in the chapter of shani khana no. 10. with regards Pt.
