Respected Sharat ji and Vishal ji,If we are talking about pure copper here then I would say it is sufficient hard. Though it is prone to JUNG but hard enough to act as a nail.BTW. let me add that my father has already made eicher(a tractor manufacturer) to replace some of its iron part by copper just to reduce the weight with same tensile strength. Copper is not a very hard metal, is something to be added to copper to made it hard enough to be used as nails for this upaya.
