Guest guest Posted January 24, 2010 Report Share Posted January 24, 2010 Respected Chadha ji, Mars can be ashubh [bud] under these circumstances: [1] When the mars is not associated with either the Sun or the Moon [2] When the sun is with saturn [3] When the venus is with mercury [4] When the sun with rahu in either the 5th house or the 9th house [5] When the sun is with ketu in either the 3rd house or the 6th house [6] When the mars is with either mercury or with ketu [even if the mars gets support from the sun or the moon or the Jupiter] [7] When the sun is not associated with either the 1st house or the 8th house. [8] When the venus is placed in the 9th house. [9] When the sun is alone in the 6,7,10,12th house Mars will not be ashubh [bud] under these circumstances: [a] If the mercury is strong and well placed. If the mars gets the help [is associated with] of either the sun or the moon; except 6 above. [c] If the moon is placed in the 1,3,8,9th houses. Effects of ashubh Mars [indications]: [1] destroys virtuous [imaan dharm karma] acts [2] destroys wealth [3] destroys the name and fame [yash, samman] [4] makes a person cruel and irreligious [5] adversely affects wife [venus], mother[moon]; father [sun]; grandfather [Jupiter] [6] On the whole the life becomes miserable. Other indications of ashubh mars: [a] Living in a house facing south A tree next to the house or a branch hanging over the house [c] a bhatti [ halwai or hotel] or bhaar [bhadbhooja] adjacent to the house [d] a cemetery or a shamshan close to the house [e] A person himself being one eyed, dark complexion, or issueless or in the company of such persons. [f] A person might have libido, but unable to have a child. [g] If the body joints stop functioning. If the Mars is ascertained as ashubh then the upaya for it should be done first before any other planet. We do not suggest upaya in this group.
