Guest guest
Which house should operate in horoscope in order to appear for competitive exams like BSRB,IAS,Customs etc. I am not asking for success in exams but to just appear in exams. Guest guest
My views are as follows: As Guruji often pointed out one needs to covert the question to an activity capable of being interpreted in terms of astrology. I would think writing of all forms would be governed by the 3rd house. Competitiveness would be governed by 6th house and success would be having connection to 11th. I would add 10th because being successful would enhance once's reputation. This question has wider implications for students today vie with each other to get better marks to get admission to higher courses, competitively. Therefore even if one examined the question as to how well you will do related to 3rd judging by benefics and strength you would have a good answer. But to get a post competitively you need to pull in 6th for both competition and getting a job, 10th for profession and 11th. May be group correct me if I am wrong, for I am here to learn. Whatever I have said above is based on my experience of analysis of horoscopes of children in family. Guest guest
Dear Sesh Krish, As per K.P., the rules as follows : 1) If the s/l of the IIIrd is either Jup,Sun,Mars or Venus, one has the courage and confidence to compete in any competetive exam... 2) Houses IV,IX & XI should be primarily judgedfor timing of event and success, and for departmental exams and interviews include the VIth & Xth also... The above rules are given in Astrosecrets & K.P.,part III. The s/l of the XIth is the key... With best wishes, L.Y.Rao. GOOD LUCK !Sesh Krish <kseshadri_2000 wrote: My views are as follows: As Guruji often pointed out one needs to covert the question to an activity capable of being interpreted in terms of astrology. Guest guest
Dear Parag, This tendency of "assuming" as per one's own interpretation should be avoided... K.P. says that ..."if the sub-lord of the IIIrd is either Jup,Sun,Mars or Venus...one has the courage to appear"..."the third house should operate...", because as per K.P.Rules,an interview will take place during the conjoint period of the significators of III,IX & XI... Further...Houses IV,IX & XI should be judged for timing of the event and success...and also that for departmental Exams and interviews the VIth & Xth should be included... Pl.refer Astrosecrets & K.P., Part III,p43,(1st edition), for more details .. Yours sincerely, L.Y.Rao. Guest guest
Sir, There is nothing like tendency etc as such. Manytimes here veteran members dont elaborate(I dont know why, but in astrology upto the point & elaboration with some example if possible is very, very important). I dont know whether we have shortage of space(GB) in the forum. I couldnt get anything from replies thats why just to know exact answer/explanation, I wrote " Should I assume? " I have original volumes by Guruji. I havent refered any subsequent modifications like Astrosecrets etc yet. Because many astrologers (with due respect to their research) have distorted the original theories etc. Even in some old issues of Astrology & Adhrishta(I vaguely remember of 70s) some different principles were propounded as per experience of each practitioner. BTW thanks for the explanation. Thats what I wanted to know whether 9th should also operate in conjoint to 3rd or what? Guest guest
Dear Parag, As it is very evident from your mail, you are a very ardent student of K.P., and you must have very gladly observed that "much water has flowed down the Ganga..." since the time the six readers have been published,(originally only two Volumes),and a lot of original research has been undertaken during the past 10 years or more by the more brilliant students of our revered Guruji...notably by the late Pt.K.R.Kar,Prof.K.Balachandran, M/s A.R.Raichur,Vaikari Ramamurthi,AR.Balan,K.Kuppu Ganapati and many others... Many new topics have been discussed in recent years, like the Theory of Short Predictions,The Origin of the Vimshottari Dasa,The sub-sub-lord and its use..in pinpointing events extremely accurately accurately...the corrected K.P. Ayanamsa etc.,which have already appeared in K.P. & Astrology Annuals...and more such research on many other subjects are ongoing I understand... As with every continuously developing system of prognosis, changes are inevitable...hence it would be very useful to keep in touch with the newer developments,by contributing for the K.P & Astrology Annual... And finally, allow me to wish you the very best... Yours sincerely, L.Y.Rao. GOOD LUCK ! parag_m_g <parag_m_g wrote: Sir, There is nothing like tendency etc as such.
