clarification required on degrees in KP system

Hi members,

 

Could anyone of you kindly clarify me asto what is

the diffrence between Lahiri and KP system in terms of

Degree (ayanamsha's). it will be helpful if anyone

lets me know how much degree has to be added or

substracted from lahiri aynamsha so as to get to match

KP Ayanamsha.

You should deduct 6 minutes from Lahiri Ayanamsa to arrive at KP Ayanamsa.

Dear Gautam,

 

KP Ayanamsha are 6 minutes behind the Lahiri Ayanamsha. Hence the

planets and houses in KP will be ahead of Lahiri chart by 6 minutes.
