Guest guest
Hello, everyone. Something big coming up? Why not do a Solar Quotidian for the day in question? To do a solar quotidian (from the Latin word for " daily " ), do the following: 1) Create the individual's Sidereal Solar Return, using the location where the person will be on the " big day. " 2) Write down the sidereal time of the Solar Return. 3) For each day between the SSR day and the " big day, " add 3 minutes 57.2 seconds to the SSR sidereal time. TABLE ONE (for finding the number of days between two dates) Jan -- use the date Feb -- add 31 to the date Mar -- add 59 Apr -- add 90 May -- add 120 Jun -- add 151 Jul -- add 181 Aug -- add 212 Sep -- add 243 Oct -- add 273 Nov -- add 304 Dec -- add 334. Then, subtract the SSR day's value from that of the day in question. Note: In leap years, add 1 day to all months beginning with March; if the day in question is in the year following the person's SSR, add 365 or 366 as needed. TABLE TWO (for determining how much sidereal time to add to the SSR sidereal time). Number of Add Days 1 0:03:57.2 2 0:06:54.4 3 0:11:51.6 4 0:15:48.9 5 0:19:46:0 6 0:23:43.3 7 0:27:40.4 8 0:31:37.7 9 0:35:34.8 10 0:39:32.1 20 1:19:04.1 30 1:58:36.1 40 2:38:08.2 50 3:17:40.1 60 3:57:12.2 70 4:36:44.2 80 5:16:16.3 90 5:55:48.2 100 6:35:20.3 200 13:10:40.6 300 19:46:00.8 Note: You may, on occasion, neet to add or subtract 24:00:00 to get a positive value between 0:00:00 and 23:59:59. Also, remember to " carry one " when seconds or minutes are over 60 rather than 100, and to " borrow " 60 rather than 100 when subtracting -- if you need to " borrow, " that is. 4) Use the result as the sidereal time of the " big day " . Subtract the sidereal time at midnight from the day in question, and you'll have an approximation of the time for which to cast the Solar Quotidian (you may have to " move backwards " a little to get the right local time). 5) After you cast the chart, look for angular planets in the SQ. Using the SQ house cusps, compare the SQ with the SSR and the natal chart. Focus on angular planets and their aspects, and aspects they form to the SSR and natal charts. 6) Finally, either have a great day, or at least be forewarned and forearmed for a bad one.
