Love, Sidereal Style

Hello, everyone.

 

I'd like to tell you all a very happy story about a couple I know who've been

seeing each other for just over two weeks. After about two months of

Internet chatting, they met at a bookstore, saw a movie, and have had several

dates since. She says " it was love at first sight " ; while he took a little

longer to fall for her, he eventually did.

 

Since astrology has been known to shed light on human relationships, I

decided that in addition to comparing their charts (they are highly

compatible in both natal and ninth harmonic charts, according to Halloran's

software), I should also look that their most recent Sidereal Lunar Returns

(SLR) and the Sideral Solar Quotidians (SSQs) & Progressed Sidereal Solar

Returns (PSSRs) for the night of their first date (January 13, 2001).

Him: November 18, 1954, Pittsburgh, PA (40N26, 80W00), 9:30PM EST

Her: October 30, 1980, Beaver, PA (40N42, 80W18), 6:22:30PM EDT

 

He had his most recent Sidereal Lunar return on January 13 at 10:34:38AM EST.

SLR Venus was at 15Aqu49, entering the SLR foreground and approaching an

opposition to his Moon, which was also in the foreground. His Natal Venus

(26Lib01) trined the SLR Ascendant (29Aqu47), indicating that love would be a

big issue during this SLR period.

 

Her most recent SLR was January 11 at 12:43:35AM EST. SLR Sun squared Natal

Pluto; both planets were foreground. SLR Venus (13Aqu18) trines Natal Sun

(13Lib11; btw, her Natal Sun conjuncts his Natal Mercury, indicating

excellent communication between these two). On the day of their first date,

Transiting Venus had crossed her most recent Sidereal Solar Return Midheaven

(15Aqu18).

 

In his SSQ (1/13/2001, 5:00PM EST, Pittsburgh) & PSSR (6:05:50PM) Transiting

Sun either squares or conjuncts an angle, indicating a big day, while

Transiting Venus (love) makes minor aspects to the angles and to Natal Venus,

which, in turn, trines the SSQ Ascendant. In his PSSR, Transiting Mercury

(meeting), Neptune (deep emotions, romance), and Black Moon Lillith

(eroticiscm) conjunct the Descendant and square Natal Mercury, while Natal

Mercury trines the Ascendant.

 

In her SSQ (1/13/2001, 8:57:51PM EST, Beaver, PA), Transiting Venus, which

has just crossed her SSR Midheaven, conjuncts the Descendant while squaring

the Natal Mars-Transiting Pluto conjunction -- this combination ensures

passion and a deep, lasting transformation. Her Natal Venus-Jupiter

conjunction trines the SSQ Midheaven. In her PSSR (10:20:14PM EST),

Transiting Moon (conscious emotions) conjuncts the Ascendant and squares

Natal Neptune, which in turn conjuncts the PSSR IC.

 

With such a stellar combination, is it any wonder these two hit it off?
