Guest guest Posted March 31, 2001 Report Share Posted March 31, 2001 Hello all, I have been using the program 'astrolog' to facilitate my study of sidereal astrology (as it seems to arrive at results similar to some of the Vedic programs available). However, I would very much like to learn how to calculate and cast a sidereal chart by hand or via pocket calculator and an ephemeris. For example, my first exposure to casting a Tropical natal chart was through " Parker's Astrology " . Said text provides a nice example of how to translate birth and ephemeris data into a tropical chart. However, I have been having a bit of difficulty finding a similar reference work on Sidereal astrology (which has captured my interest) Can anyone recommend a text or website in which such calculations are discussed?
