Guest guest
The Mayans were able to track the solar return of the Sun conjunct the Pleaides (a sidereal event), by observing the Pleaides at the Midheaven at midnight the opposite time of year, and then counting a certain number of days. This according to Jenkins. I am not sure what you mean by SVP. Is this something to do with the Sun? I am not familiar with all of the terms of sidereal astrology. I would appreciate more info. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ David Ray Woodstock, NY 12498 bluerodent ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ _______________ Get your FREE download of MSN Explorer at http://explorer.msn.com/intl.asp

This according to Jenkins. It's probably true. Additionally, the Babylonians assigned Aldebaran to 15* Taurus and Antares to 15* Scorpio was because sometimes they could see the one rise as the other one set. The Tropicalists call it " The Aries Point " , since it's their 00*00'00 " Aries. When it's drifted into Sidereal Aquarius (in a few hundred years or so), the Age of Aquarius will begin. Guest guest
Kevin et al., This idea that in sidereal astrology the spring equinox is turning through the celestial sphere really amazes me. In another Age, it was Taurus that began with the Spring Equinox. I had this idea about Tropical astrology that it was set to begin with Aries during the whole Age of Pisces. When the Age of Aquarius begins, it may be that the Tropical zodiac needs to turn one sign, like the ticking of a clock. But that won't happen for a couple hundred years or so. For now, our solar wheel works because it is a snapshot of the solar system's relationship to the center of the galaxy at the dawn of the Age of Pisces. I think it is important to know where in the celestial sphere the SVP is, like reading a larger clock. So it is not so important to me to keep it in one point on the zodiac. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ David Ray Woodstock, NY 12498 bluerodent ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ----Original Message Follows---- " Yerwurst Neitmayer " <karmabum15237 Re: TROP v.
