Guest guest
thank you everyone who responded to my questions on vedic astrology. your responses have given me things to think about and look up. jyotish astrology is quite new to me (currently reading 'ancient hindu astrology for the modern western astrologer' by james t. braha as my first book on the subject). i am, so far, very intrigued. i really enjoy the divisional charts and am taken with what an important role house rulerships play. the difference in aspecting is also fascinating. while i understand many astrologers don't often use vedic for psychological insights but rather, highly accurate predictive work and practical guidance, i've found that who i appear to be in the indian system (in regards to house issues and house aspects) is much more like what i originally expected to find when starting out in traditional western tropical astrology. i'm not sure what that means exacttly, but i like it. ;-) re vehlow: unfortunately, i have not read " Die Konstellationen lehre. " the way i came into contact with the name is one of the progs i use offers a " vehlow/vedic " house system, so i assumed it was a widely used system. lately, i, too, am enjoying anything that incorporates numbers into astrology like harmonics and uranian these days. extraordinarily fascinating. much appreciative of your insights, -paola
