Hi all!

I am new to the group and would like to ask a question if I may - I

have been doing Astrology for a few years but am very interested in

the idea of Sidereal Astrology - it makes sense to me.....

My question is - I have the program " Solar Fire " - I use it all the

time but haven't used it for sifereal Astrology - I would like to

know what Sidereal zodiac to use in this program - I believe that

the " Lahiri " Zodiac is a Sidereal one?? which one would people

suggest using - and what about houses - are the " Hindu Bhava " ones

suitable??

I am sorry if the answer to the question has been asked before but

can't read all the posts to find out right now - thankyou very much

for any help!

Re: Type of Sidereal Chart

with good results I use the fagan-allen sidereal

zodiac option (standard zodiac for most western

siderealists)

Fagan recommends Campanus Table of Houses...for

progressions use Mean Q2...and standard secondary .

disregard BIJA sidereal progressed option for solar

and lunar returns. and use thw Mean Q2. the BIJA

option introduced in Fagan's Primer is one of the only

techniques that never really proved its worth.

Suggest you set Solar Fire to Fagan/Bradley and

Campanus " House " System....

I use Solar Fire as well but suggest you obtain a

software that erects a Prime Vertical and/or

Mundoscope chart as well.

Good choice, Shamira. Solar Returns are what led to the revival of

the sidereal zodiac in the west in the first place.

Oh, if only Jim Eshelman's book on them were still in print!

Later,

Kevin
