Guest guest
Dear list, I hope someone can help me out of some confusion. I read that Fagan's ayanamsa (precession) was confirmed by Allen's findings on the apex of the sun's way as fiduciary for the sidereal zodiac near 0 Capricorn. They had calculated the apex to be around 19h right ascension and 36 declination north, which meant this point was around sidereal 29Sag24. I was recently searching the web for more information on the apex (thinking it might have been located with a closer approximation) and found that it is located at around 18h RA and 30 decl. This would put it at around 0 *tropical* capricorn, so sidereally in Sagittarius. Is this correct or what is it I don't understand here? Is this solar apex the same as the " apex of the sun's way " , and if so is it correct to conclude that it cannot be a fiduciary for the sidereal zodiac? Thanks in advance for any help Regards Maddalena
