Guest guest
Can one of you practicing siderealists answer a question for me? I know that the doctrine is that lunar return charts should be set for the locale where a person is living, though I've usually found that the birth place return seems to work all right as well. I've never figured that contradiction out. So what about travel? Summer is coming when many people hit the road. What do you do about angular planets in the return chart? You can't re-cast the chart for 20 cities in a month!! Can someone please help? Thanks, Therese

But aside from looking for hard aspects from malifics to natal or progressed planets just enjoy your vacation. As for angular planets in return charts, have you ever done the Sidereal Capsolar for New York City preceeding the attack on the World Trade Center. The nearest planet to an angle was Jupiter. It seems you have no faith in the progression of lunar returns. You are welcome to the programs anyway. Progressed Sidereal lunars produce the most accurate picture and timing of angular planets (angles in hard aspect to planets and\or midpoints, usually within approximately 1 degree of exactness) for events or psychological states I have ever seen. As for birth locality charts working as well I have not found that to be the case in my work with the possible exception of death charts. Guest guest
Hi Therese, Reading a return for _both birthplace and relocation is whole of pie. Reading a return for _just birthplace or relocation is half of pie. Excuse the ( _ ) which _always means Pluto is too-o much with Mercury. Vacation comes from the Latin for cow. Cows don't do charts. Ergo :: Don't do charts for vacations. Just for everything else. R. Therese Hamilton wrote: > Can one of you practicing siderealists answer a question for me? Guest guest
Thanks, Richard!! But I see possible conflicts between birthplace and locale. This has always confused me. You will have 8 out of the 12 'houses' emphasized. I don't think the birthplace chart totally dies out in favor of the locale chart. Cows or no cows! T. Guest guest
Therese, No return locale can die out in favor of another return locale. There are no conflicts possible because they all have to work seamlessly together. Nothing ever cancels anything else out in returns. They are all so hugely beautiful in their operation that it takes an overview of biased all-inclusivity...a Mercury-Jupiter helps, any aspect (you probably have a major or minor)...to appreciate their sheer breadth.. As an example let's take George Bush in the 2000 election: 1. SSR New Haven...Uranus on MC ~ Gonna be President! 2. SSR Crawford...Jupiter-Saturn crowd their midpoint ASC. The Uranus-Neptune crowding their midpoint MC might be judged at first as the confusion of repeated vote counts but is really the calculated, implemented deception orchestrated throughout his election. Note that the JU-SA were conniving in the cloakroom of the 12th in the other two returns. Here they get brave and come out of the closet. ~ Gonna be President! 3. SSR Washington...The tight conjunction of Sun-Mercury-Mars which were just wishy-washy in the 2nd and 2nd,3rd of the other two returns simply must somehow go prominent. Here (Placidian) they fill the 1st house with a royal sextile from Moon in the 4th house ~ Gonna be President! How could Al Gore's natal Neptune 9th opposite Sun even hold a candle to this? His little boy had to get hit by a car. In the astrologer's eye, the SSR of a political winner should gather such coruscating light about itself that his opponents returns are done finally as mere rote exercise. You should be that blinded! At least that's what we try for. Actually even before looking at the above I made preliminary judgement from Barbara Bush's chart for the day _after election. Good ol' Barbara couldn't conceal her great happiness in knowing the whys and wherefores of something we couldn't possibly know. Yet. R. Therese Hamilton wrote: > Thanks, Richard!!
