I can't seem to find the reference right now, but I'll post it when I do. Please do find the reference, because without it there's no proof of verification. Also, where can we see Bradley's original research with all the details and figures?? I've read often about it, but have never seen the original work. >> >It frankly amazes me that 10 celestial objects and the three cardinal >> aspects (conjunction, opposition, and square) that have been demonstrated >> statistically useful aren't enough for people. >> >> Again, what are these statistical sources and the replications? > >Gauquelin's widely-known research into the effects of planets near the cardinal angles has also been independently checked, if I'm not mistaken... Oh, why didn't you say 'Gauquelin?' I studied with Francoise Gauquelin for awhile. She was a guest at my house, and I attended research conferences with her. The Gauquelins didn't really talk about 'cardinal aspects.' They simply noted the statistical significance of planets in (roughly) Placidus sectors. Professor Suibert Ertel (Germany) did replicate the Mars study. I also tried to replicate the Gauquelin work, but only Mars fit their pattern. The study (not statistical) was published in the NCGR Journal in the 90s. >And I believe it was Fagan who did the research into zodiacal aspects, although I don't know the details of the study. Note my careful use of the word 'demonstrated' instead of 'proven'. This is kind of vague. Whatever Fagan did, it would have to be replicated. From experience I know that trinal aspects are very effective if they're close, which means they are conjunct in the navamsa chart. Trines of Jupiter are especially important.
