One would think the best thing to do is to convene, explore and come up with

a resolution. fat chance! /// chriswing

Thank you, Risto, but how many astrologers care about open minded research?

It seems that most astrologers are like members of the traditional

churches. They are comfortable with their belief systems and don't really

want to investigate and perhaps see their beliefs overturned.

Perhaps one day there will be a new breed of astrologer who will care more

about truth than entrenched beliefs. Only then will astrology have a chance

for respect in the non-astrological world.

RN: I did when I first started progressing lunar returns and still do.

RN: I heartily agree. Repeated postings of precise findings using

progressed lunar returns elicit no response from what I am perceiving

now as a very close minded group. In spite of your post asking for

open minded research, you are among those who have not responded to

those postings. Actions do speak louder than words.

RN: I am here today. Nobody has noticed.

RN: HA! Good ASTROLOGICAL RESULTS don't even get respect in the

astrological world, consider the non-response to the progressed

lunars. Good sounding words though; open minded, truth, respect.

Hi Bob,

I generally don't have much to say about progressed charts, either lunar or

solar because I don't progress charts and have little understanding of the

techniques involved in progression. I use a Jyotish program where the

empahsis on timing events is entirely different than techniques used in the

west. Re: Progressions, I can comprehend that certain figures are very

close, but my understanding ends there.

Why don't I progress charts?

(1) My every day astro program doesn't do progressions.

(2) I'm working on so many research projects already and have so much going

on in life that there is no time. Besides others are already working with

progressions. They don't need a green lady involved too.

I suppose the time of astrological specialization is already here. Each of

us will have to present what we find, and it's up to the others to pay

attention--or not. I know where you're coming from. I've been presenting

certain ideas for...maybe 25 years. Who has paid attention? Hopefully it

will all be in a book someday for posterity--people who aren't drowning in

establishment thinking. (And we all know what Donald Bradley thought of

establishment thinking....)

So continue your work and set it all down (on computer and on paper) with

clearly laid out techniques and examples. Those who care will come around

in time.

Sincerely,

Therese
