Guest guest
Dear Siderealists, We have at least several members of this list who will swear by the Fagan-Bradley ayanamsa in spite of any contradictory evidence that might be presented. Also these same members have what they believe to be tried and true methods of prediction: solar and lunar returns, the PSSR, etc. Last week Bettina asked for thoughts on the upcoming election. I'm wondering why no diehard siderealist has yet posted a prediction on the election??? Using the Krishnamurti ayanamsa, navamsa charts and birthplace return charts, plus a look at transits, the outcome of the election seems blatently obvious to me--unlike the mass confusion of election 2000 where one man won and another was appointed as president. Any astrologer who mis-called election 2000 had a perfect excuse. Even Richard Houck, that crackerjack political prediction expert, said that the usual winning indications were absent. His conclusion was, " Bush must already KNOW he's going to be president! " (Ken Bowser correctly called the election, but missed somewhat on return charts for the election date. No wonder!) So where are our brave siderealists whose techniques are so treasured? Let's hear from you! (For myself, I'm writing an article on the election--not sure where it will go yet...) Waiting... Therese For those who need the information, here's Kerry's data: Kerry, John Forbes Birth 12/11/1943 (Dec 11, 1943) Birth Time: 08:03 (08:03 AM) MWT(+7:00) Birth Place: Denver, CO Latitude / Longitude: 39 N 44 / 104 W 59 Rodden Rating / Source: A / From memory Source Notes: Frances McEvoy quotes his mother for " sunrise. " In February 2004, Robert Blaschke talked with Karen Thorne, Kerry's sister-in-law by his first marriage, who obtained a time from Kerry of 8:03 AM in 1996. http://www.astrodatabank.com/NM/KerryJohn.htm
Guest guest
Dear Everybody ... I don't think I'm as sophisticated or finely honed in my astrological craft as many of you out there, but I'm just going to go ahead and shoot from the hip vis-a-vis the upcoming US election. In W's 2004 return, which will cover both the election and the swearing in day, Saturn is cnj. Sun and both are in return 1st house. Saturn also aspects Jupiter which rules SR 10th house. Also, SR asc falls in natal 12th. For Kerry his 2003 SR (which covers election day but not swearing in day) has its asc. cnj. his natal Moon in 7th. Since Moon rules his natal 9th, it's an auspicious point in his horoscope. Also, SR Jupiter falls right on his natal 10th cusp. In his 2004 SR (the one that would cover swearing in day), SR asc. falls in natal 10th, very close to natal Jupiter. Also, SR Jupiter is strongly angular in SR 4th, aspecting SR 10th. Transiting PL on K's Sun (10th ruler) shows a huge change in his life right about now. That means he'll likely become prez, or step out of politics completely. So, to me it looks more promising for Kerry than Bush. If I were a betting woman, I'd put my money on the new JFK. I sure hope the current admin. doesn't pull some stunt like canceling the election. Believe me, the American public would be very, very pissed. .... Guest guest
Sorry, I correct one thing that I said. In the 3rd paragraph I said that K's 2004 SR Jupiter was in the natal 10th. It's the 2003 SR that has that. .... Bettina Bettina [chiria] Monday, March 22, 2004 4:46 PM RE: Kerry/Bush Dear Everybody ... Guest guest
I need neither an ephermis nor a crystal ball to call this one: Kerry in a walk. I'm more interested in what JFK will do once he's in office. Therese thanks for kerry's birth info (and your response to my rulership post). I'm going to do a comparison of kerry's chart to the US chart. I use July 4, 1776 5:10pm as i've heard that this is when the Declaration was signed. I'm wondering what natal charts you all use for the USA.
