Hi Therese, Yes, transits to angles and planets in lunations and return charts--including all major and some minor aspects- conj, oppo, squa, quincunx, trine etc. An example of this: George W. Bush and 9/11 George W's lunar return of August 29, 2001, just prior to 9/11 (for birth place in New Haven--I get overall better results with birthplace returns): MC (Fagan ayan)= 4Gem59 and Asc=5Vir01. Transits for 9/11 event (8:45 AM): Mars=6Sag41 and Moon=3Gem19--so conjunction and square the angles of lunar return. The transiting Mars/Moon midpoint for event is 5Pis00 and thus only 1' from exact aspect to the lunar return MC/IC, ASC/DESC George W's solar return for that year has a close Mars/Pluto conjunction in the 4th house.
