Guest guest
For those using Solar FIre be aware that unless you are using their updated Ver. 5.1.2 calculations for aspects may be inaccurate. -- 16 Jun 2003 - Created v5.1.2 * Eclipse Search with sidereal zodiac - when searching for aspects to a fixed position (with a sidereal zodiac selected as the default in Solar Fire) or to a sidereal radix chart, the eclipse position was being erroneously calculated in the tropical zodiac, thus resulting in incorrect aspects being found. This has now been fixed. Suggest you contact your SolarFire dealer and buy the current version... Juan

I checked the Astrolabe site today. I'm going to wait to compute any more ingress and Moon phase charts until Solar Fire makes the trek from the East coast to the West coast. I thought I could get by with NOVA, but NOVA doesn't compute ingress charts, and the program was written before the days when astrological software automatically hooked up to an atlas--and before the computer mouse was invented. We used to be happy enough to have an astrological atlas in a big book. Now we take it for granted that the program will do all the lookup work for us. Even the Jyotish programs have atlases.
