Hi Cynthia, I don't think most people would choose W's natal chart as a presidential one. It's one of the mysteries of astrology. However, the navamsa is extremely strong with all those planets in Leo in the 10th, and of course Leo is the sign that holds W's 10th lord Mars. >I live in TX and he was a pretty good governor here. I've always felt that the Republican powers that be chose him as their front person. >He always seemed happy here. (For the uninitiated, this means all the planets are between the two nodes on one side.) >I suspect that if W. is what we need in the US he'll succeed. The inaugural Moon is on Edwards' natal Jupiter, and Jupiter is conjunct the M.C. in his inaugural lunar return. Just two contacts among many in the charts of the four candidates. It's true, however that on inauguration day Jupiter is right on W's natal Jupiter-Moon conjunction. At the same time transiting Pluto is only a few degrees from the SR descendant with Mars conjoining Pluto. I set the inaugural chart for January 20 at 12:02 p.m. So W is having his Jupiter return as the new presidential term begins. What will this mean in terms of who wins the election? W's Saturn-Sun conjunction is so important this year, and I'm not sure how to interpret it. Some of you siderealists out there...won't someone please progress W's solar return to the inaugural date and tell us what you see?? I simply note the transits to the SR chart myself. Transiting Jupiter on inauguration day is nowhere near an angle in W's SR chart, but squares SR Sun-Saturn, likewise not near an angle. The inaugaural Sun/MC falls in W's SR 8th. W does have an angular Jupiter-Pluto (square from 4 to 7) if his SR is relocated to Washington. But by the inaugauration date Jupiter has moved into a middleground position. Thanks for your thoughts, Cynthia. Therese
